We are delighted to have taken receipt of our new paper packaging in Summer 2008. This packaging was sourced from Italy and we are the first to use this patented product. The packaging is 100% cellulose and is a 100% biodegradable and recyclable material. What appears as a plastic window is actually a modified form of paper! We are very pleased to be using such eco-friendly packaging going forward into the future and we feel that this packaging complements the ethos of our bakery.
Because the packaging is breathable , we are now able to pack the bread while still hot. So, hopefully - you’ll be able to pick up a hot loaf in your local shop!
