The Foods of Athenry are delighted to have been awarded three new "free from" accolades in last night's national FreeFrom Food Awards in Dublin.

The food and drink industry awards aim to recognise, encourage and reward the achievements of free-from producers and the excellence of their products. In 2017, the Foods of Athenry won awards in three food categories - crackers and crispbreads, bars, and biscuits and cookies. The awards are:

Gold in the Biscuits & Cookies section for our Gluten Free Lemon & Blueberry Cookie
Silver in the Crackers & Crispbreads category for our Gluten Free Cranberry and Hazelnut Sodabread Toasts
Bronze in the Bars category for our Gluten Free Rocky Road

In celebrating great free-from food and raising awareness of Coeliac disease for Coeliac Awareness Week, all gluten free products including last night's award winners, are 20% off until midnight on the 15th May!

These taste awards build upon our success in the 2016 awards, where we won seven awards over six competition categories including the industry Innovation prize.
