Fully Loaded on Mount Kilimanjaro Featured

This is a story that started in Tipperary and ended on Mount Kilimanjaro with a very happy customer. That`s what it`s all about for The Foods of Athenry and we are delighted to tell you that Paula Greally was delighted and Fully Loaded.

How did this all start? Well, we got a message a few weeks ago from Paula on Twitter @greallyp. She was reaching out because she could not find The Irish Oat Granola Fully Loaded bar @SuperValuIRL, @tescoIrl or @dunnesstores  and Paula needed a box of them - not a single bar. It`s an unusual request for us as it`s normally only overseas customers who take an entire box.

However, Paula had a great excuse because she needed to be Fully Loaded (sorry for the pun) going up Mount Kilimanjaro to climb this very famous mountain which takes a serious amount of energy. Just why we bake the Fully Loaded.

Why you ask? Would something else not have been okay. Well, okay is not what Paula and The Foods of Athenry do and we don`t need much prompting to go the extra mile.

So we did, with gusto.

Siobhan Lawless the managing director and co-founder of the company saw the tweet and went into action. A call went into Richie Fitzsimons our man on the ground in Tipperary and he made the trip with a full box of Fully Loaded.

Next thing we know, there is Paula posting photos of herself on Mount Kilimanjaro with The Foods of Athenry, handing out bars to porters and drumming up some orders all the way from Tanzania.

Some woman.

So the moral of this story is The Foods of Athenry will always go the extra mile for our customers and you should too. You never know where you will end up - on top of a mountain in Africa called Mount Kilimanjaro perhaps!

By the way, the Irish Oat Granola Bar Fully Loaded is a High energy pure oat based granola bar made with butter and containing dried fruits, chocolate chips, seeds and coconut #glutenfree #wheatfree. Seriously delicious. Great for sporty types or busy people on the go.

Perfect for Paula.
