Celebrating Local Flavour at the Galway Craft Fair – November 2025
Santa visits the stand looking for some gluten free cookies

November 2025 saw Foods of Athenry return to Galway for one of the highlights of the year — the Local Food & Craft Gift Fair. Set in the heart of the city, the fair brought together some of Ireland’s best food producers, makers, and artisans, creating a vibrant celebration of local quality, creativity, and community.

It was an incredible week from start to finish, and we were delighted to meet so many familiar faces as well as new customers who were discovering our products for the very first time.

A Fantastic Showcase of Irish Food & Craft

The Galway Craft Fair is always a standout event on the calendar, and this year was no exception. With a fantastic atmosphere, a steady flow of visitors, and an evident appreciation for locally made food, the fair provided the perfect opportunity to showcase what we do best.

We loved chatting with visitors about our commitment to quality ingredients, traditional methods, and creating products that everyone can enjoy. The enthusiasm and support shown throughout the week truly highlighted how important local food producers are to the wider community.

Sharing Our Gluten Free Range

One of the most rewarding parts of the event was hearing directly from customers who rely on gluten free options. Many visitors were excited to see such a wide variety of choice available in one place, from everyday staples to indulgent treats.

Throughout the week, our stand featured a selection of customer favourites, including gluten free cookies and gluten free biscuits that proved popular with shoppers looking for something special to enjoy at home or gift to loved ones. Our gluten free cereal range also sparked plenty of interest, particularly among those searching for nutritious, flavour-packed breakfast options.

Visitors were also delighted to sample our gluten free cakes, which continue to show that free-from baking can be just as comforting and satisfying as traditional recipes. Alongside these, our gluten free crackers and gluten free granola were a hit with those looking for versatile products that fit seamlessly into everyday meals and snacking.

Of course, no fair would be complete without a few indulgences, and our gluten free treats were enjoyed by visitors of all ages.

Connecting With the Community

Events like the Galway Craft Fair are about more than just showcasing products. They’re about conversation, connection, and listening. Meeting customers face-to-face allows us to hear real feedback, learn what people love most, and understand how our products fit into their lives.

We were especially grateful for the kind words shared by so many attendees, from long-time supporters to those discovering us for the first time. That direct engagement continues to inspire us as we develop and grow our range.

Looking Ahead

As we reflect on a brilliant week in Galway, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand, sampled our products, and supported local food producers.
